Welcome to Cornerstone Nurseries Ltd
Cornerstone is a new venture for already well established nursery owners/directors who wish to put a new slant on the quality childcare they already provide across the city.
The first branch will arrive in Jordanthorpe in April 2011 & will be named Beechwood. The nursery will provide high quality care & education for children aged 6 weeks – 5 years but will have the advantage of lower fees as parents are asked to provide their own nappies & lunches, things which tend to result in much higher fees in other settings.
The baby room will have specially selected staff that will provide plenty of love & cuddles for little ones. Special attention will be paid to the home routine of each child to ensure a seamless individual care plan between home & nursery.
A varied & stimulating schedule of activities will be provided for the toddlers where music, sensory experiences & outdoor time is of the highest priority.
The Pre School rooms will follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidelines as set out by the government and all children will be entitled to free pre school education. Phonics will be taught to the children & Spanish will be offered as an additional language.
A keyworker will be assigned to each child in order to provide a ‘first port of call’ for each child & their parents/carers & daily information will be given at hometime.
